Michael D’Auria brings more than 40 years of experience in the electrical construction industry to his role as Senior Vice President of Sodon Electric, where he oversees day-to-day operations, project execution, financial performance, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
After graduating from Fairfield University, Michael began his career with a small electrical contractor in Bergenfield, New Jersey, where he developed a foundation in estimating, project management, engineering, and business operations. While working full time, he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering and obtained his New Jersey Electrical Contractor’s License. His commitment to continuous learning later led him to attend law school at night while working for the Rockefeller Group, gaining valuable experience managing operations at Rockefeller Center.
Michael spent 27 years with Zwicker Electric, a second-generation family-owned electrical contracting firm, where he advanced from Project Manager to Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure, he helped deliver several of New York City’s landmark developments, including Goldman Sachs Headquarters, 7 World Trade Center, 3 World Trade Center, Hudson Yards, and Manhattan West.
Today, Michael leads Sodon Electric with a focus on safety, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. He is passionate about fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and opportunity, and believes the family-oriented values shared by Sodon Electric and KIELY create an environment where team members can thrive and succeed together.
