From growing up surrounded by construction his entire life to guiding operations across Southeastern Pennsylvania, Chris Crawford’s journey in utility construction has been shaped by hands-on experience, mentorship, and a deep respect for the trade.
Chris’s career began with a company that didn’t just offer a job, it offered a future. Immersed in the utility construction industry through structured training and real-world exposure, Chris quickly developed a natural understanding of how things are built and a passion for the work that drives communities forward.
A defining moment came during the company’s response to Superstorm Sandy, where Chris played a direct role in restoring critical infrastructure along the Jersey Shore. That experience underscored the impact of construction beyond the job site, it was about rebuilding lives and neighborhoods when it mattered most.
In 2015, Chris helped expand the company’s footprint into central Pennsylvania, introducing Kiely Family of Companies to new clients and building a workforce of nearly 100 team members across two yard locations. His leadership helped establish a strong operational presence and foster local talent, laying the foundation for long-term partnerships.
Today, Chris oversees construction operations in Southeastern Pennsylvania, driving regional growth and performance. One of the most fulfilling aspects of his role is mentoring others, sharing knowledge, guiding decisions, and helping team members grow into confident professionals.
He is honored to be part of a company that values family and career development, Chris has even had the privilege of mentoring his son, Gavin Crawford, continuing the legacy of learning and leadership.
